We have much to be thankful for this week...first of all that we live in the USA and have the freedom to vote for our leaders and most of all the freedom to worship and live out our faith without persecution.
We are so thankful, too, that God has blessed us with an amazing marriage and a wonderful family.
I had a yearly mammogram this week..(also thankful for new equipment and a much easier time!) Dad had his eyes checked..one has a cataract beginning, but thankfully still able to only change that lens for less than $25.
We are enjoying our Wed. night "seminary" class and I get to go to the ladies study on Fridays that A. Karen leads called "strenthening your faith".
I made a lemon meringue pie this week and we invited 2 couple friends that we still appreciate lots from our Calvary church days.
Yesterday we had the Wildwood clan over for dinner and got to enjoy a little time with Papa Lee visiting from CA. Then today Dale Holte invited us over to watch the Vikings/Packers game in the afternoon. (they didn't deserve to win that one, but it was fun that they did in the end :)
It turned cold mid week and looks like it will continue. We finally took out our "winter" clothes.
Did any of you happen to read the Covenant Home Altar devotions this week. Very good.
Tomorrow the Caspari kids are coming up for the day (no school) so we will have an "R" day....you know, races, reading, a ride to the river, root beer floats, R games, etc. then Dave will come up for roast, rice, rolls, romaine, raspberry jello with Redi-Whip....and a little recital.
(Amy has teacher conferences. ) (will do it will Emma and Timmy on their day off later in the week. Should be REALLY fun. Dont you want to RUSH RIGHT over?! :)
